Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Outstanding Tiny Desk at outstanding-tiny-desk.com, operated by an individual based in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Questions go to support@outstanding-tiny-desk.com.

The service

Outstanding Tiny Desk creates a 15-second performance video from your uploaded group photo or individual performer photos, with the selected soundtrack. Output is an MP4 at 480p, 720p or 1080p. The studio shows the current credit quote before you generate. Results are generated by AI and vary. Faces, clothing or backgrounds may not match your photos exactly. We do not guarantee any particular result.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Sign-in uses Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything done through your Outstanding Tiny Desk account.

Photos you upload

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission to use their image in this way. You must not upload:

• photos of anyone under 18;
• photos of public figures or celebrities;
• photos used to create sexual, sexually suggestive or degrading content, including AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or simulated nudity;
• photos used to harass, bully, defame, impersonate or deceive anyone.

You keep ownership of your photos. You give us a limited licence to store and process them, and to send them to our AI provider, only to generate the videos you request. We may refuse or delete content that breaks these rules and suspend the accounts involved.

Finished videos

You may download your finished videos and share them on your personal social media accounts for non-commercial purposes. The reference footage and its soundtrack belong to their rights holders and are used by Outstanding Tiny Desk under licence. You may not sell finished videos, use them in advertising or paid promotions, register them with content-ID systems, or present the reference footage or music as your own work.

When you share a finished video, make it clear that it was edited with AI, and do not use it to mislead anyone about what a real person said or did.

Credits and payments

• Each generation uses credits. The exact cost is shown before you generate and listed on the pricing page.
• One-time credit packs are valid for 365 days. Unused credits expire and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Credit packs are charged once and never renew. We currently do not offer recurring subscriptions.
• If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, and your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Things you must not do

Do not try to get around credit limits or payment, reverse engineer or overload the service, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to break any law.

Copyright and other complaints

If you believe content on Outstanding Tiny Desk infringes your copyright or uses your image without consent, email support@outstanding-tiny-desk.com. Include the content's URL or a description of it, the rights you hold and your contact details. We review every complaint and remove infringing content promptly. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Service changes and termination

We may change, pause or discontinue features, including the reference video, at any time. You can stop using Outstanding Tiny Desk and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date above. For significant changes, we will also notify signed-in users by email. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
